Take a CVAD Tour

Thank you for your interest in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas. CVAD offers year round student-led tours of the college. Please fill out all the required fields in the link provided below. You will receive an email with additional information about your visit after you submit your form.

If you would like to come to campus for a tour or if you would like to bring students affiliated with a group or organization to campus, please go to http://art.unt.edu/forms/tour-signup to register.

Tours of the main UNT campus are also available. It is highly recommended that you take the UNT tour prior to the CVAD tour. The CVAD tour is CVAD specific and will not answer general questions about UNT, Admissions, Housing or Scholarship opportunities. Please visit http://tours.unt.edu to sign up for a UNT tour.

Directions to UNT

Coming from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport

  • Exit the Airport from the North Entrance/Exit
  • Follow the signs to Highway 121 North.
  • Take I-35E North to Denton
  • Take exit 466-A to McCormick St.
  • Turn right on McCormick St.
  • Bear right onto Avenue A. Take a right on Eagle Dr. Take a left at the light on to S. Welch Dr. Paid Parking is available in the parking garage located at the corner of Union Circle and Welch St.
  • Proceed to the Art building located at the corner of Mulberry and Welch. The tour will meet in the lightwell gallery located on the first floor in the center of the building.

Coming from Dallas

  • Take I-35E North to Denton.
  • Take exit 466-A to McCormick St.
  • Turn right on McCormick St.
  • Bear right onto Avenue A. Take a right on Eagle Dr. Take a left at the light on to S. Welch Dr. Paid Parking is available in the parking garage located at the corner of Union Circle and Welch St.

Coming from Ft. Worth

  • Take I-35W North to Denton.
  • Exit right to I-35E Dallas (Exit 85A). Ignore the Bonnie Brae Exit sign, which says University of North Texas.
  • Within a half mile, take exit 466-A to McCormick St.
  • Turn left on McCormick St.
  • Bear right onto Avenue A. Take a right on Eagle Dr. Take a left at the light on to S. Welch Dr. Paid Parking is available in the parking garage located at the corner of Union Circle and Welch St.
