CVAD Visiting Scholar and Artist Series 2015

CVAD Visiting Artist and Scholar Series presents Akiko Fukai, the director and chief curator of the Kyoto Costume Institute. Akiko will lecture about Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion. Fukai’s lecture will discuss her recent exhibition of the same title, which is currently on view in the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia.

This UNT College of Visual Arts and Design Visiting Artist and Scholar Series lecture is made possible by the Gallery and Visiting Artist and Scholar Committee; the UNT Department of Art Education and Art History; and the Texas Fashion Collection.
