Current and former Fibers students to lead gallery talks/workshops at the DMA

DMA logoUNT College of Visual Arts & Design is excited to have two former and one current Fibers students lead events at the Dallas Museum of Art. They created the hands-on components for the Waxed: Batiks from Java exhibition, which will be on view through September 2017.

  • Batik exhibition at the DMAOn Wednesday, February 22nd at 12:15pm, visit the DMA for a Gallery Talk on the role these students played in the DMA's Batiks exhibition.
  • There will be an addtional Gallery Talk on natural dyes and batiks, on Wednesday, April 5th at 12:15pm.
  • Workshop will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 1pm
