A University of North Texas art professor will use data from the #MeToo movement to create a digital work of art.
Liss LaFleur, an assistant professor of new media art at UNT, was selected for an Immersive Scholar residency to put digital art on the walls of the James B. Hunt Jr. Library at North Carolina State University. She’ll use data from the #MeToo movement — a digital response (largely by women) to widespread sexual harassment and abuse — to create a digital work of art.
