Call for Entries: Project Goodwill Design Competition

Project Goodwill imageCheck out this exciting opportunity for local artists and designers! The 5th Annual Project Goodwill Design Competition is just around the corner. In this competition, contestants are given a budget of $100 to design a wearable, fashionable, “Blue Carpet” garment using unconventional materials from Goodwill stores to be modeled at a runway show/dinner event for charity. The event will be held at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth on Thursday, May 3rd.

This is an awesome opportunity to get exposure and serve the community at the same time! See some of the photos from last year's event here.

Prizes will be awarded for three place categories to include:

  • Up to $700 cash
  • A sewing machine
  • Body forms
  • Gift cards
  • Mention in FW Texas Magazine feature
  • ...and much more!

Students, lecturers, professors, local artists, and designers - if you are interested in participating, Goodwill wants to hear from you!
