Internship: Munson-Cox Portrait Design

Munson-CoxInternship opportunity at Munson-Cox Portrait Design, a photography studio in Arlington Texas. The studio is owned by Ken Cox, a UNT Alumni (1986).

The intern will need some working knowledge of Photoshop, bridge, file processing, and workflow. Graphic Design skills using InDesign would be preferred.

Tools interns could use would be Wacom tablets, professional cameras, lighting equipment, mounting, and finishing equipment.

Depending on the organizational skills of the interns, they could be used on special projects such as set building and design and setting up and assisting the lead photographers.

The interns would also assist in booking sessions, client consultations, phones and some emails depending on solid communication skills.

The interns could be used for quality control for final printing. They could be used for color correction and retouching images. They would have to learn the numerous printing labs that make our products and could be used to order specialty items from our suppliers. They would also assist the photographers by preparing the studio for shoots and greeting clients upon arrival.

There is an opportunity for an intern to gain employment after graduation.
