Dornith Doherty's solo exhibition, Seeds, Science, Sustenance, and Snacks: the Photography of Dornith Doherty, has been awarded a 2014 Fotoseptiembre Choice Award. The exhibition, which includes over forty photographs, is on view at the University of Texas at San Antonio Art Gallery through October 3, 2014.

James Thurman, Associate Professor at UNT's College of Visual Arts & Design, will be the guest speaker tonight at the monthly meeting of the Visual Arts Society of Texas. James coordinates the 3D Core program and teaches in the Metalsmithing & Jewelry area.
