Eastfield College will present "Things that are now visible," which includes the works of three Dallas-based artists -- Iris Bechtol, Natalie Macellaio and Lesli Robertson. The exhibit will run from Aug. 25 – Oct. 2, with an artists’ reception from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Aug. 29. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The College of Visual Arts and Design congratulates the seventy-two faculty members, lecturers and librarians entering the 2014-15 academic school year with either tenure or promotion. Lisa N. Owen is an associate professor of art history at UNT's College of Visual Arts and Design. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the arts of India. On July 24th Lifetime television will begin airing Season 13 of Project Runway. UNT Fashion Design alumni, Emmanuel Tobias will be one of the contestants. Tobias is a hard-working, talented, and award winning designer. He graduated from the Fashion Design program in 2011. He was also one of the judges this year for the UNT ArtWear fashion show.
