The Department of Art Education and Art History is pleased to announce that Dr. Monica Salazar will join the faculty as a Lecturer this fall. Dr. Salazar received her Ph.D.in aesthetic studies from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2016 and her dissertation Death and the Invisible Hand: Contemporary Mexican Art, 1988-Present won the best dissertation award for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Chris has been working full-time in information technology for about six years. He is a former UNT student and also began his career here.
After leaving the university, he worked at Lockheed Martin RMS and Texas Christian University.
