The framework for success

Supporting your passion

College of Visual Arts and Design faculty are master artists, designers and scholars who are award-winning and nationally recognized. As leaders in their disciplines, they’ll encourage you to explore new directions in creativity and scholarship and guide you in becoming a well-rounded professional.

Showcasing student work

Exhibition is a vital component of your education. Our galleries include the Lightwell and Cora Stafford Galleries, which exclusively feature the work of College of Visual Arts and Design students and UNT ArtSpace Dallas, which is devoted to experimental projects created by students, faculty and renowned alumni.

Enhancing your creativity

All of our programs use the latest technology to bring your vision to life. Through our six computer labs and other facilities, including our Fabrication Lab, you will have access to state-of-the-art hardware and software, including 3-D modeling and printing capabilities, laser and plasma cutters, and CNC routers.

Hands-on learning

You can put your education into practice through internship opportunities and study abroad programs that will allow you to broaden your understanding of the international world of art and design.
