The 4 professional programs offered through the College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) in the Design Department at UNT share a common mission that prepares students to not only meet, but to define and reinvent solutions for the fundamental challenges that impact their respective professions in an increasingly changing world. The curricula in each of these programs have been designed to help future designers develop the conceptual, aesthetic, analytical and technical skills necessary to achieve these objectives.
In addition to the university admission requirements, students wishing to major in any program in the College of Visual Arts and Design must meet minimum academic requirements to be classified as a pre-major. Please see CVAD pre-major requirements for more information.
